Bill Murray was formerly the President of Sovereign Oil & Gas, a project development company focused in
West Africa with interests in Nigeria. Bill has over 30 years experience in the management of oil and gas
industry onshore and offshore, domestic and international. He has worked internationally for the past 18
years in Columbia SA, Indonesia and West Africa. Actively involved in Operations and Exploration and
consummated several property acquisitions in SE Asia from 1995-2002.
While with Sovereign Oil & Gas, he directed both an acquisition and divestment group and was successful in
development and administrative functions. Assessed new markets and analyzed business opportunities
with prospective asset owners and investors.
In Indonesia, Bill was responsible for the Southeast Asia area which included the ongoing production
operations in the country and acquisitions in the surrounding countries. The Operation in Indonesia
included the largest offshore producer, Southeast Sumatra PSC, which peaked at over 220,000 barrels of oil
per day and employed over 1100 personnel. There were six additional blocks in Indonesia, both operated
and non-operated and one exploratory block was acquired in Malaysia, offshore Sarawak.
