Marine Advisory - An Overview
We've DONE IT for a living.
Our Marine Advisors have all made a living in the marine industry at sea and on the
shore. Our Marine Advisors all hold Master License and have had experience in marine
terminals and/or vessels in responsible positions including vessel master, marine terminal
manager, or Port Captain for onshore and offshore facilities and container terminals.
Many have oil & gas backgrounds including VLCCs, FPSOs, FSOs, Semi-submersibles
experience in new-builds, conversions, and other applications. Some hold Offshore
Installation Manager (unrestricted) license with MODU experience and have rig moves
and delivery experience.
We DO IT for a living.
Our Marine Advisors have high competencies and "hands on" professional maritime
management experience and training, and hold a variety of marine professional
certifications, licenses, credentials, and awards. They DO global marine advisory work for
a living today.
We TRAIN people in it.
Our global marine training programs are not academic exercises but delivered in practical
and "no nonsense" fashion to instill the advanced skills necessary for successful marine
terminal and/or offshore field operations and management. Participants gain the
knowledge and skills necessary to perform competently across the entire marine
management spectrum regardless if they are still on vessels or assigned to marine
facilities ashore. We offer an array of marine training programs which are designed to
deliver the desired management skills.
One Marine Advisor earned and holds the prestigious OPA Award
Award winning performance: Outstanding Professional Achievement Award (OPA) from the United
States Merchant Marine Academy Alumni Association. Selected by his peers in 1994 for his work in
mechanized systems and automated marine terminals.
Awarded to Capt. Paul Allen, Class of 1969
